Energy Infrastructure Development and Management Company (EIDMC), a public sector organization working on sustainable energy infrastructure projects in Pakistan, is inviting applications for the position of Chief Internal Auditor.

📌 Position Details:
Job Title: Chief Internal Auditor
Reporting To: Audit & Finance Committee / Board of Directors
Location: Islamabad
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Lead internal audit function ensuring governance, risk management, and internal control systems
Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits
Develop Internal Audit Charter & Annual Audit Plan
Ensure compliance with laws including SOEs Act 2023 & Companies Act 2017
Report findings and recommend improvements
Detect fraud, waste, and misuse of funds
Promote integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement
Manage internal audit team and conduct special investigations
🧠 Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of audit standards, IFRS, and public financial management
Expertise in risk-based auditing, forensic auditing, and internal controls
Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
High level of integrity and professional judgment
🎓 Qualifications & Experience:
Member of a recognized professional accounting body (CA / CPA / ACMA / ACCA / MBA Finance)
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience
At least 5 years in senior management role
Experience in public sector / SOEs preferred
🎂 Age Limit:
Maximum 55 years
💰 Salary & Contract:
Market-based competitive salary package
Contract initially for 3 years (extendable based on performance)
Not pensionable or regularized
