Centralized Admission Open for NUMS Constituent, Affiliated & Armed Forces Administered Medical & Dental Colleges in First Year MBBS/BDS
Session 2025-26
NUMS being the Admitting University of its Constituent, Affiliated and all Armed Forces Administered Medical/Dental colleges is responsible under PM&DC Admission Regulations to conduct a centralized admission test and make admissions to MBBS & BDS Program. Candidates seeking admission in NUMS Constituent, Affiliated & Armed Forces Administered Medical and Dental Colleges are invited to apply in MBBS/BDS session 2025-26 on open merit and foreign seat.
Eligibility Criteria
Open Merit Seats:
a. Pakistani citizens (Including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan)/Dual National/Overseas Pakistani can apply for admission in all above mentioned colleges on open merit seats.
b. Passing NUMS MDCAT - 2025 (Held on Sunday, 28th September 2025) is mandatory. Pass percentage of NUMS MDCAT is 55% for admission in MBBS Program and 50% for BDS Program.
c. Minimum 60% aggregate marks in FSc (Pre-Medical) or equivalent (Equivalence certificate issued by IBCC for A-Level/12th Grade) having minimum twelve years of education in atleast three subjects i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either Physics or Mathematics.
Foreign Seats:
a. Any candidate who holds a permanent foreign nationality or is an overseas Pakistani, Green card Holder, Iqama holder, Maple card holder can apply for admission on foreign seat.
b. Candidate must have studied and passed HSSC / 12th grade examination or equivalent from inside or outside Pakistan and possess a certificate from the institution last attended to this effect.
c. Minimum 60% aggregate marks in HSSC (Pre-Medical) / 12th grade or equivalent (Equivalence certificate issued by IBCC for A-Level/12th Grade) having minimum twelve years of education with mandatory subjects of Chemistry and Biology and the rest as optional subjects.
d. Passing NUMS MDCAT - 2025 (Held on Sunday 28th September 2025) with minimum 55% marks for admission in MBBS Program and 50% marks for BDS Program
OR
MCAT (USA) or UCAT (UK) with 50% marks in the subjects as prescribed in PM&DC Admissions Regulations 3(C).
How to Apply
The candidates are required to visit NUMS Website, www.numspak.edu.pk and apply online.
IMPORTANT:
a. Possession of CNIC/NICOP/Passport is mandatory for students aged 18 and above at the time of admission. For aged below 18, Form-B/Juvenile (Smart National Identity Card) is mandatory.
b. Candidates having foreign qualifications, such as O/A Level or 10th/12th Grade etc. shall upload the equivalence certificate issued by IBCC at the time of submission of online application, otherwise their application shall be rejected.
c. It shall be the sole responsibility of the candidate to submit complete application along with the required documents. Application once submitted, cannot be changed by the applicant. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling the Online Application Form. In case of any deficiency, the University may reject the application without intimation to the candidate.
d. Applications once submitted shall be considered final and cannot be changed by the applicant. Applications which are incomplete in any way or those received by post shall be rejected.
e. The university shall cancel any provisional admission where the credentials of a student cannot be verified.
f. Applications shall be submitted through online portal only. Hard copies are not acceptable. No application shall be accepted after the last date of submission.
g. Matric/SSC and FSc/HSSC issued by BISE must be IBCC attested.
h. Applications for improvement of FSc/HSSC/A-Level/12th Grade results will be accepted by or before 19th December 2025. Candidates must send their submissions from their registered email address to the NUMS official email. No requests will be entertained for the subject purpose after the mentioned date.
i. NUMS will make admissions on allocated seats while adhering strictly to merit cum candidate preference and inform each applicant who are in merit list (as per their preference) through NUMS Website/ email/ telephone.
j. Candidates applying as Paying Cadets to W&R Dte, GHQ, must apply on Open Merit through online application portal for admissions in NUMS Affiliated & Armed Forces Administered Medical & Dental Colleges available on NUMS Website.
