AJK Public Service Commission has announced multiple BPS-17 vacancies in various government departments of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

1. Higher Education / Colleges Department
🔹 Lecturer (Multiple Subjects) – BPS-17

Subjects include:
✭English
✭Mathematics
✭Physics
✭Chemistry
✭Biology
✭Computer Science
✭Statistics
✭Economics
✭Commerce
✭Political Science
✭Islamic Studies
✭Urdu
✭Pakistan Studies

✅Qualification:
Master’s Degree (2nd Division) in the relevant subject or equivalent qualification
MA English (3rd Division) allowed if diploma in English from Allama Iqbal Open University
Age Limit: 21 – 40 years

2. Education Department
🔹 Subject Specialist – BPS-17
✅Qualification:
Master’s Degree (2nd Division) in relevant subject
Professional teaching qualification preferred
Age Limit: 21 – 40 years

3. Finance / Accounts Department
🔹 Assistant Director (Accounts / Audit) – BPS-17
✅Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Economics / Accounting
Minimum GPA 2.5 (or equivalent)
CA / ACMA / ACCA preferred
Age Limit: 21 – 40 years

4. Commerce & Statistics Department
🔹 Assistant Director (Commerce / Statistics) – BPS-17
✅Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics
Minimum GPA 2.5
Age Limit: 21 – 40 years

5. Law & Parliamentary Affairs
🔹 Law Officer – BPS-17
✅Qualification:
LLB / Law Graduate from HEC recognized university
Minimum 3 years legal practice
Age Limit: 21 – 40 years

6. Information Technology / Computer Wing
🔹 Assistant Director (IT / Computer) – BPS-17
✅Qualification:
BS / MSc in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering
Relevant experience preferred
Age Limit: 21 – 40 years

7. Islamic Affairs Department
🔹 Assistant Director (Islamic Studies) – BPS-17
✅Qualification:
Shahadat-ul-Almia (recognized as MA Islamic Studies / Arabic)
MA / MSc Islamic Studies preferred
Age Limit: 18 – 40 years

8. Planning & Development / Administration
🔹 Section Officer / Assistant Director – BPS-17
✅Qualification:
Master’s Degree (2nd Division) in relevant subject
Age Limit: 21 – 40 years
